House That The Trees Reclaimed, is an album that came out last year, with a launch waylaid by Covid, featuring songs that mirror these dark times. There are haunting odes to The Colleen bawn, the victims of Mother and Baby homes, written and performed by Dublin native Garret Baker with music and singing from French, German and Irish collaborators, The Random Nouns (including Frieda Freytag on Cello, Laura Mallett on vocals, Chris Barry on guitar and stunning album artwork by Sheena Malone.)
I have been lucky enough to participate on this beautiful album and hope it finds its way into some of your musical worlds.
